Possibilites Galore For 2011 New Year's Blessing

Oh, my Dear Sweet Loves
New Years Eve is upon us!

Opportunity knocks.
Sit, listen to the sound of your Breath
Grounding toward Your Desires
For this coming Year.

Have you taken time to reflect?
What Passions are calling to you?
Are the seeds of your Dreams ready to be watered?
What have you done to close the doors that no longer serve you?

Let us Wash the slate, dust out the Cobwebs;
As the Sun sets we can release the old,
Creating Space for the New, the unknown.
To the Mornings Light.

Let us align ourselves in Compassion,
Toward all Life.
May we be guided to Respect,
Those we presently call our Enemies.
Closing cycles of Fear and Hatred.
We Welcome 2011!

Let us Open our Hearts,
Hearing from this Sacred place.
May we learn to Listen,
Hearing our story in others voices.
Closing cycles of Self-Righteousness.
We Welcome 2011!

Let us Invite Love,
Being Present to the moments,
Not basing our reactions on Hurts of the Past.
May we be guided to our Truth.
Opening a cycle of Compassion and Kindness.
We Welcome 2011!

Let us Cultivate Communication
Clear, Honest
RE-membering that we are all One,
Opening a cycle of Peace.
We welcome 2011!

Let us Pray
In Gratitude,
In our Sorrow.
May our voices Ring out in shared Song,
With different tunes.
Opening a cycle of Tolerance.
We welcome 2011!

May we see the Abundance,
The Magic and Mystery.
May we be guided to our Highest Potent.
May we Honour our Gifts.
Share with those less fortunate.
May we Laugh, more then we Cry.
May we Sing out in Gratitude and Wonder.
YES, indeed we welcome 2011!
Come 2011, come Play with us, Be with us
Teach us the ways of Possibilities and Opportunity.

We sit these last hours with 2010
We give Thanks to all that we have learned~
The Growth, both Sorrowful and Joyful!
We Thank you 2010 ~ Good night.
We Welcome 2011, a New Day, a New Year.
We are Grateful for this New Moment in our Lives.
Welcome 2011.

Holding the Intention for All that what you desire brings great Joy. May Your Year be most Prosperous and Bright. Wishing you the Ordinary turned Extraordinary, Have a Healthy Year!

Winter Solstice Blessing

Dear Hearts
The longest night is with us,
Father Sky and the Star Nation coupling
Grandmother Moon in a lunar eclipse.
The Wonder in our life time ~ 400 years
Since this has happened at Galactic Center.

Oh, the Magic and Mystery we have been gifted.
As Raven returns the Sun, giving us back Light
In a time of Cold and Darkness.
Turning Coppery –red, sharing a new Energy.
Opportunities for Spiritual Connections deeper
In our Being.

Let us Open our Hearts
To our emotions, release our Fear
Sinking into our Creativity.
Let us Open our Minds
To our Ability to Manifest that which is in the Highest Good.
Let us Sing to our Ancestors,
Honoring our Relationships with all the Creatures of the Earth.
It matters not Winged, Finned, Four-legged, Creepy Crawlers, Stone People, Tree People, We the Two-legged
We are All One.

We are the channels for growth and Change.
Let us Bless the seeds of Releasing, the seeds of New Creation.
Let us Invite that which no longer serves us to be gone from our lives.
May we find our own Awakening, bringing us to our Divine Nature.
Blessings to you on this the shortest day of the year.
Dream and feed well the Seeds you wish to plant,
Come Spring Equinox.

Blessing to All The Earth Creatures
Happy Winter Solstice
May the Gifts of this day bring Joy.
May your New Year be Bright,
With a Light shining from within.
Blessing onto You and Yours
May we live in Harmony.

Prayer for Snow

Great Spirit, that which moves all that which moves
It is chilly and I am concerned
I share this with you,
Trusting in your Wisdom.

We are still without Snow
Here in the North lands by the Sea.
I am worried for the animals, the plant people
For Mother Earth has no blanket.

Great Spirit, that which moves all that which moves
I am most grateful for the winter
The chance to slow down, taking time to reflect.
Please may we have Snow~

Great Spirit, that which moves all that which moves
Thank you.
I feel Blessed, trusting in your Wisdom.
Trusting in the changing Seasons.

A Gift

Oh, Great Mother
Thank you for the gifts
You shared with me.
Gifts of Joy and silly-ness
That I was able to share with my daughter.

Great Mother,
Thank you for the gift,
Of a safe place to raise her,
A place so full of wonder
Mystery and Magic.
Thank you great Mother
For Raising us both in that
Little town.

Joy, what a state of Grace,
Sliding down a banister!
Great Mother, laughter springs
Full on from my body
Watching ~
Thank you Great Mother
For giving me the gift of McWirzy.

Check out this piece for it all to come together.

A Blessing of Thanksgiving, November 25th 2010

Let us join Hands~
Round the table, round our Loved ones,
Near and far
We come together in Gratitude.

Let our Voices~
Sing toward Thanksgiving.
Let the tears that fall,
Be in Joy and Laughter.

Let us Hear~
What lies in the heart’s
Of family and friends.
Making space for Peace, a coming together.

Let us give Praise~
For what we share,
Food on the table, shelter,
The warmth in this giving.

Let us Pray~
For those less fortunate,
That they too, may find comfort,
On this day.

Let us Ask for Guidance~
That we may learn
The ways of Thanks giving
Each and every day.

Blessings, Dear Ones~
I have much to be Grateful for and to,
A Family of Friends, teachers and guides.
Each smile or tear that crosses my face.

Yes, there is much to be Thankful for,
Let us Sing, Pray, and Listen with our Hearts.
May we put aside our differences,
For truly we are one.

Blessings, Dear Ones ~
May tomorrow find us full
Of our Thanksgiving,
Today, tomorrow, always.

I Cry Out to You, In the Night

Hear my cry in the night
Divine Mother of All.
Hear the children of your heart,
As our Souls awaken to their True Nature,
We wake in the night.

Teach us to listen,
To the song of your night lullaby.
Guide us Divine Mother of All
Away from our fears.

Show us the way of understanding,
Our dream stories.
Hear my cry in the night
Divine Mother of All,
I am restless, in my sleep.

Guide me in my sleep, for my Human body
Must rest to be Awake.
Comfort me in the darkness,
Divine Mother of All,
That I may serve in the highest Light of All.

Oh, Divine Mother of All,
Watch over me as I sleep.
Hear my cries, sing me my dreams,
Wrap me in your gentle blanket of night,
My restless Soul, to sleep.

November 16th; A Morning Prayer

Eternal Mother and Father,
In your Mercy,
Watch over us this day.
Guide us Gently through
Our Sorrow, Misunderstandings,
Our Laughter, and Joy.
Eternal Mother and Father,
We thank you for this Day
Along with all that it Holds.
Thank you Oh, Eternal Mother and Father
Of all that is Seen and Unseen.

There is not much I would desire to add to this clip. I wish for you your Humanity. I wish for you, Kindness, gifted and received without thought or concern of how or the why. Letting it comes as a whisper on the wind ~ let our action speak volumes of Kindness and Compassion.

Samhain Blessing

The seasons change –
We are indeed at the end of Summer.
During this time as the Light-ness of Day
Turns more toward the Darkness,
On this day the path between the worlds is thinner,
Allowing and Inviting us to listen to the Whispers of the Ancestors.
Our Eyes search for what lays hidden.
What Wisdom is there whispering to your Heart?
Light your Jack-o-Lanterns that those who could not find
The path way home, in their confusion of Death,
May now see the road home.
There is much Magic afoot in the world.

Blessings to you as the harvest is in.
Blessings to you as we find ourselves, turning inward.
Blessings to you, your Ancestors gone and yet to come.
Blessings to you, my friends, for You are a Light shining
In the Darker Months.
Blessings to you, for the Magic within.
I thank your for honouring the Mystery that abounds.

Blessings to you this Samhain!

Keep Safe!

Thank you once again to the marvelous T. Griffin for the photo

For Sarah Delano...You will Be Missed

I am a sadness, Great Spirit
A friend, left this Earth realm.
I will miss her bright light,
The sound of her sweet smile.

I ask that you watch over,
And guide my friend to what waits for us all.
Life is a Cycle,
We all will travel full Circle.
Today, this does not make it easier.

Gone from sight the shine in her Eyes.
Care for her Great Spirit,
She brings laughter and a brightness with her.
I am a sadness.

I have a Sadness, Great Spirit,
I will miss her.
I have a Joy, my friend is with You.
One more to watch over friends.

I am grateful for the time we shared.
Till our paths may cross again.
I have a sadness, mixed with a joy.
Guide my friend Home, Great Spirit
She is in Your Hands.

As Night draws near
We give thanks for this day.
Equal Day and Night.

You gifted us with an abundance of growing things.
Both beauty and nourishment.
Thank you for all that was part of the passing season.

Hurricane Prayer

We call out to you
Amphitrite, Goddess of the Sea
Vasillia, Goddess of the Winds
Be kind as you send your combined forces toward land.
Be gentle with the Winged Ones, that fly over the great Ocean.
Keep in mind the Finned, that live within your depths.

Amphitrite, Vasillia, we ask that you watch over those whose livelihood comes from your great bounty.
May ships that are out to sea, find Safe Harbour.
Be gentle with this ocean storm, we ask that you not feed upon our fears.
Teach us to surrender, to accept that which we can not change.
Let us know that all storms, pass
Leaving us with space to grow.
We ask that in your wake we may find treasures of Understanding and
We give thanks in advance for the quite and Peace that will come.

Amphitrite, Vasillia,
We weep with you, for what may be lost.
We are humbled in your wake.
Please guide all souls that may pass during this storm Home.

Great Spirit, I thank you for this day,
Guide my words that I may be patient,
Guide my actions that I come from an open heart of Love.

That I may be remembered as light.

Watch over them St. Christopher

Saint Christopher,
Watch over those who travel
I ask you keep them safe.
No matter their means of travel,
Or the destination planned.

Saint Christopher,
You who are the Patron Saint of Travel
I call to you,
Guide those that travel,
To rest as needed,
To take time to stretch to stay alert.

Saint Christopher,
Thank you for watching
Over all those that travel.
Keep them in your Soulheart.
As you are kept in mine.

Flamingo Pink raising above the cityscape
The street light outside my window, out
Dawn is breaking
Birds laughing, some talking
Once again we wake
A new day
Ripe with Possibilities.

Let me feel Gratitude,
Invite my Fear to lift.
Oh, most Divine Universe,
I am Thankful for this day
That lies now before me.
What might I bring to this day
That will bring a shine, to the world?

I thank you for another day of Life
Guide me that I not squander it
In pettiness or gossip.
Let my voice sing out in Praise,
Lift up my heart,
Oh, most Divine Universe,
That I may honour this gift of today.

Oh, most Divine Universe,
Help me to pray 108, twice, three times
For the removal of what feels like
Insurmountable obstacles, for all beings.
Thank you for this day.
Thank you for hearing my plea,
Thank you for my own Divine Nature.

Blessings This Mother's Day

A holiday created to bring a warring nation
A place of commonality, sameness
Mothers come in many forms, many memories
Some of the Moms, I know are dressed as Dads,
choosing to do double duty.
And then there are the Moms I know that have
not a child to hold.
To one and all I take of my Heart-hat
Happy Mother's Day!

May you find that quiet moment, that feeds your soul, that any child big or small knows there is Shelter here.
May the sound of Laughter, brighten your face, that we may know your Love.
May you know in your soul-heart that each day you wake, you are indeed doing the very Best you can.
You are Loved, held in the arms of the Great Mother herself.
You are seen for I chose not to turn away, I thank you for the never done job of Mothering.
Bright Blessings upon you, for the day is YOURS
As we say here in Maine....Have a Wicked Good Day!

Happy Mother's Day

On Wings of Our Love - Homeward

Oh, Divine Universe
A simple request for those we Love
The New Stars shining in the Evening Sky.
Guide them in their moment of Surprise,
Their newness that is an oldness.

No longer is there a need for them to Breathe
No longer may they feel us hold them.
Let them feel our Love Surround them,
As we weep, singing of who they are, now were
May this become the Wings of Love,
That carry them Homeward.

Oh, Divine Universe
In your Grace,
We Sing, Love, Live
This cycle of Returning and Re-membering
Guide our friends, these Bright New Stars
On Wings of Our Love

Oh, Divine Universe
Your arms held wide to Hold them
Guide us also in our time of Sorrow
A friend, their last breath, gone.
Your great Compassion.
On Wings of Our Love,
They come Homeward.

All my love to Mary L and friends of Jim Daniels
You will be missed.

Forgivness, Past, Present and Yet to Be

This is a prayer about forgiving….I did not write it, it is touching and a reminder for me that we can Heal, with Compassion, Forgiveness, Love and Intent. I am reminded also that each time we heal a part of our story we heal the future generations, and those that have passed. Blessings.

I am coping it from a book called The Short Bus, A Journey Beyond Normal. It was shared with the author of the book Jonathan Mooney, by Jeff – from his Book of Wisdom. Jeff it seems copied it from a brochure, while sharing a meal. It comes from Dr. Ponder’s Posterity Decrees Brochure, and can be found on page 251 of The Short Bus. It is one I felt that indeed needs to be shared. I am hopeful that you agree.

All that has
Offended me I FORGIVE.
Within and Without,
I Forgive, Things Past,
Things Present, Things
Future, I FORGIVE.
I Forgive Everything
And Everybody who can Possibly
Need Forgiveness
Of the Past or the Present.
I FORGIVE Positively
Everyone, I AM FREE
ALL Things are
Cleared up Now
Between Us Now
And Forever.

Prayer After a Fire...

Oh, Sacred Tall Ones,
I stand and weep for the loss
In the Bosque del Apache.
Sweet woods on the Rio Grande

Mother Earth,
I stand and weep
The habitat of many
Four legged, Winged, and Creepy Crawlers
Gone now.

Oh, Sweet Woods ~
I stand and weep
Mother Earth, Father Sky,
Great Spirit
I stand and weep~

We are all one,
Each connected by a thread
Of Being, inhabitants of this place we call home.
I stand and weep
Oh, sweet Bosque del Apache
I stand and weep
At our loss.

Photo from a website for the Bosque Del Apache- I believe it is a cotton wood. It may no longer be standing...I weep

Vernal Equinox, Welcome Oh, Glorious Spring

Invite yourself on this the beginning of Spring
to awaken your senses.
We've all noticed how the shift of the light,
the feel of the spring sun makes us feel.
Note, also the desire to throw open the windows.
What then the windows of our Souls,
Let in and Invite
never before imaged dreams.
Breathe in the air filled with a richness,
not noticed during our Winter's rest.
These are the Dreams and Desires to create for
ourselves new opportunities, to re-direct our paths.
Sweep out - Rake out if need be;
Forgive and break out of old Habits and Patterns.
May the air that you Breathe be filled with the richness of the Universe.
May that which you eat remind you of the Great bountifulness of Life.
May you always have a hand to hold in times of need, you do not walk alone.
May your name be spoken with the reverence that is your Devin-ness.
May your hearts eyes be open to both a Gladness and small Sorrows;
that your Life be well Lived.

~ Rosemary

this from a Gallic Prayer

May the Nourishment of the Earth be yours.
May the Clarity of Light be yours.
May the fluidly of the Ocean be yours.
May the Protection of Ancestors be yours,
and May a slow wind wrap these words of love
around you like an invisible cloak to mind your Life.

I am Grateful for my Life.
Thank you, for all,
That is part and parcel~
If I had not the tears,
I'd not know the Sunshine.
Laughter and Sorrow,
Thank you~

Great Spirit, that which moves all that which moves.
Guide me to share what gifts I have been given
Come sit at my table,
Let me hold you, share in your joy
Laugh with you, cry in your sorrow.
Feed your Soulheart.
Thank you friends.
Grateful in abundance,
Great Spirit, that which moves all that which moves.

New Moon, On the Ides of March

Grandmother Moon,
Emotions running high
Let this wash us clean.
Rain and tide,
Be gentle with the flooding
Grandmother Moon, I ask of you.
May we find compassion,
In all that twists and turns.

Guide us, Grandmother Moon,
Turning us toward Love, as we
Surrender the grips of fear that hold our Heart.
Show us the way,
As you again glide gentle into the sky
The smallest of silvers, shining in the Darkness.

Grandmother Moon,
Let my heart flood with Kindness,
Teach us this Re-membering of our Self.
The Soul, that can die and be reborn anew.
Gentle and loving.

Thank you Grandmother Moon,
Each cycle you bring a gift,
An opportunity to grow to fullness,
Releasing what does not serve.
Thank you for your sweet light,
Grandmother Moon,
Thank your for your soft singing to sleep

Hope blooms

Great Goddess,
Sweet Mother Earth,
In my struggle and sorrow,
You guide me in beauty.
I am most grateful.

Great Goddess,
Sweet Mother Earth,
I am honoured by your belief in me.
My eyes open to the wonder surrounding me.

Great Goddess,
Sweet Mother Earth,
I feel your waking,
Smell it in my growth.
See it in the Hope that blooms.

Great Goddess,
Sweet Mother Earth,
Hold and guide me in sorrow,
Teach me to keep an open Heart.
Let me not lose the path of Love.

After a Storm

Great Mother, Father,
That which moves all that which moves,
I pray in awe of your wonder and power.
A crying and howling of wind,
A brightness and warmth to calm the soul,
Today a hush of snow,
As I light a candle for souls lost in the wee hours of morning.
I pray a gentle Thank you, for Life, for today.

Great Mother, Father,
That which moves all that which moves,
Hear my prayer,
Hold them gently as you carry them home.
Guide me in living,
That I may live my life to serve and honour.
I thank you for this day.
I ask that you continue to watch over my family.

Great Mother, Father,
That which moves all that which moves,
Grant us wisdom, compassion
That we may awaken to the fullness of our becoming.
Sit with me in these still hours of morning
As I weep and sing for those you have called home.
Thank you for this day.

Unfolding in Song

Great Spirit, I feel your presence surrounding me, guide me, teach me to be the music of harmony. Let my voice join with all that you are. Help me to Re-member deep in my Souls and Bones, that we are each part of the concert of life. I am right were you need me to be, I need not understand. Great Spirit, guide me, teach me the art of Being. That I may open, unfolding to all the possibility you lay out before me.

Forgive me, my Sadness

"The soul of the world is nourished by people's happiness...And when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you achieve it." Paulo Coelho

Great Mother Earth,
Please forgive me, my sadness,
I am most grateful for all
The beauty, magic, mystery in the world.
There are times, I will admit that living
Inside this human condition, finds me filled with Sorrow.

Great Mother Earth,
Please forgive me, my sadness.
Guide me toward an inner Compassion.
Teach me the way to have roots that give me wings.
Let all my sorrow be a path of growth.

Great Mother Earth,
Please forgive me, my sadness.
I pray for your help with this storm,
The swell in my heart ~
I turn it over to your wisdom.

Great Mother Earth,
Please forgive me, my sadness.
Guide me toward Gratitude,
In my times of Sorrow
May my tears wash clean the small hurts.

Great Mother Earth, Father Sky
Hear my prayers.

Everyday I want to be Grateful

Momma Earth,
I want to be grateful all the time
Some days it feels too difficult.
I hear those that I love in pain.
Struggling to pay their bills.
Feed themselves, their animals.
Guide me Momma.
Teach me and remind me that there truly is a purpose
For the destruction of hurricanes, tidal waves, and earthquakes.
Guide me through the seasons, the cycles,
That I may learn to be grateful all the time.
For I some times feel my own struggles,
To be kind, to share what I have.
Being in the moment!
Guide me Momma Earth,
Teach me, your ways, I am listening.
I come to you with arms wide open,
My heart I gift to you,
Sweet, sweet Momma Earth.

A Prayer of Resilience

Great Mother, Father, Spirit
I thank you for the gift of resilience
The inner laughter as I continue to learn.
I can sing and dance;
As I face into the wind of change and hurt.
I am able to morn and weep for what has been lost;
And yet feel the Joy rise in my heart;
For another day to Live and Love.
Thank you Great Mother, Father, Spirit.
I am grateful for your guidance
Teaching me that all things may change in the blink of an eye.
I am indeed blessed always, always.

Hold them Safe

Grandfather, Great Earth Mother
It is so bitter cold here
I know that it is the season
And it is right.
There are some who live here with out homes
Please hold them safe.
Give them places to sit in the warmth.
Be gentle with them in the night
Grandfather, Great Earth Mother
All your children suffer, when one of us suffers
Please hold them safe.
Guide them toward warmth.
Be in their hearts, help them to find joy.
I am humbled in my luxury of home.
Grandfather, Great Earth Mother
Please hear my prayer.

Prayer for a friend

Great Mother,
I beg you to hold my friend
In her loss and sorrow.
I know it is the way and the cycle of life,
Yet, it makes it no less difficult.
Hold her, bring to her comfort.
Great Mother, I ask this of you;
As I am far from my sister
And can not hold her.
Help her to find Peace in this loss.
Great Mother, I thank you for the seasons of life.
May each of us live our life to it's fullest.
Great Mother, I also ask that you
Guide my friend's Mother home.
It is so easy to become lost,
Here on Earth,
Guide her home to her own Light.
Great Mother, thank you for your care and love.

Asking for Guidance

Great Spirit, hear our prayer.
The world is changing so much, so very fast.
Guide us toward Hope,
Teach us the ways of Compassion.
Great Spirit, hear our prayer.

With all the technology, people are moving away from human contact.
Guide us toward Kindness,
Teach us the ways of Comfort.
Great Spirit, hear our prayer.

Great Spirit, hear our prayer.
Guide us to live with an Open Heart
Teach us the way of Living in the Moment.
Great Spirit, hear our prayer.

Great Spirit, hear our prayer
Today, that we may live fully
In a Sacred Way.
Great Spirit, hear our prayer.
