Blessings of Beltane 2011

As the fires of the night burn low in the fields,
A new day awakens,
In Gratitude and Joy
Great Mother, Great Father
Above and Below
We came singing to your Wedding.

We lit the fires of the debris of last year,
We pray our offerings you would enjoy.
We are grateful for the fertility you whisper on the Earth,
Humbled by the Mystery that harkens in our Souls.

Great Mother, Great Father
Mother Earth, Father Sky
Your Union of the Elementals
Each mid –Spring,
Fire of Passion, Water of Forgiveness,
Earth of Re-membering, Light of Renewal
Guide us in our dreams,
In our waking
Joining the Sacred Feminine and Masculine.

Guide us to understand that All Beings
Share in your bounty,
That as we breathe, so do you.
As Our heart’s beat,
We hear Your Song in Harmony.
Guide us Great Mother, Great Father
By your Grace we Live.

As the Beltane fires of what no longer serves,
Burn down, and the New Day awakens,
Guide us,
To Sow that which is in Service,
Kindness, Compassion and Love.
Let us hear Songs of Joy instead of Hatred.
Once again,
Great Mother, Great Father
You have Blessed our Fields
In Fertility~
We pray that we do not squander this gift.

Blessings to you Great Mother, Great Father
We are filled with Gratitude for your gifts.
May we invite the Mystery and Magic to
Fill us with True Wonder
That we may share with All Being.
Guide us to live in Peaceable Harmony.

Epiphany, Friends as Gifts

The Magi came
Following the Star, the Light
Bearing gifts in Gratitude.

An insight,
You, my Friend
Are a Gift.
I am most Grateful
Bring me not things,
Come sit with me, share with me.
You, my Friend are the Gift.

Blessings, my Friend.
You, who have shared your Sorrow
Your laughter.
A walk around the block,
Sharing with me your inner most thoughts.
Those who have sat as Witness in Silence
As I have Struggled and Grown.

For being part of my World.

Let us join Hands~
Round the table, round our Loved ones,
Near and far
We come together in Gratitude.

Let our Voices~
Sing toward Thanksgiving.
Let the tears that fall,
Be in Joy and Laughter.

Let us Hear~
What lies in the heart’s
Of family and friends.
Making space for Peace, a coming together.

Let us give Praise~
For what we share,
Food on the table, shelter,
The warmth in this giving.

Let us Pray~
For those less fortunate,
That they too, may find comfort,
On this day.

Let us Ask for Guidance~
That we may learn
The ways of Thanks giving
Each and every day.

Blessings, Dear Ones~
I have much to be Grateful for and to,
A Family of Friends, teachers and guides.
Each smile or tear that crosses my face.

Yes, there is much to be Thankful for,
Let us Sing, Pray, and Listen with our Hearts.
May we put aside our differences,
For truly we are one.

Great Spirit, I thank you for this day,
Guide my words that I may be patient,

The street light outside my window, out
Dawn is breaking
Birds laughing, some talking
Once again we wake
A new day
Ripe with Possibilities.

Let me feel Gratitude,
Invite my Fear to lift.
Oh, most Divine Universe,
I am Thankful for this day
That lies now before me.
What might I bring to this day
That will bring a shine, to the world?

I thank you for another day of Life
Guide me that I not squander it
In pettiness or gossip.
Let my voice sing out in Praise,
Lift up my heart,
Oh, most Divine Universe,
That I may honour this gift of today.

Oh, most Divine Universe,
Help me to pray 108, twice, three times
For the removal of what feels like
Insurmountable obstacles, for all beings.
Thank you for this day.
Thank you for hearing my plea,
Thank you for my own Divine Nature.

There are also all the beautiful Plant People
The Tall Ones, Rocks and Gems ~
Teach us, guide us to care, for our Home.

Let this be my prayer.
May I walk softly,
Leaving a trace of kindness.

Guide me toward gifting Grace.

Goddess of Courage,
Thank you for standing with me.
Some days feel so difficult to bare,
Goddess of Courage,
Guide me to my true Nature.
A Nature full of Laughter with myself.
Show me the ways of Compassion for myself
That in turn I may share with others.
Goddess of Courage,
Teach me that to care for myself is a Selfless Act.
I need to learn that I need to come first,
That I may then care for those in need.
Goddess of Courage,
Know that I am grateful for the obstacles I have walked.
I am beautiful to my eyes,
Help me shine bright that others may shine as well.

Feel sometimes like a motherless child.....

Oh, my sweet Mother Earth
This weekend I felt like a Motherless child.
There were moments that I could not feel you surrounding me.
I felt lost in a rush of hurry, hurry.
I was lost in the neediness of others.
I lost sight and touch of your loving body.

Please forgive me.
Sometimes I feel like a mother less child.
Yet, in my heart I know your are there
Again, I am held. I can feel your love.
Guide me to love, compassion.

I thank you for the Great Abundance that I was able to have before me.
Share with others.
Guide me to know that by walking my path true to you, myself and I,
Then others may learn.
Teach me that I need to respect others in their right to be
In a place of fear and lack.
Forgive me, my lack of compassion.

Oh, sweet Mother Earth,
Sometimes I feel like a motherless child.
I am blessed by your wisdom and grace.
Thank you sweet Mother, for allowing me to walk upon your belly.
Thank you for the abundance of my Life.
