A Northern Harrier Hawk!

A bit of wild,

Here, here in the heart of the city.

Are you listening?

Or was it one of the Red-tailed

That live over by Back Bay?

Are you listening?

It is the wee hours of the morning.

I couldn't tell who, I'm unable to tell the difference

By their call.

Yet, it is the Wildness, I am grateful for

Here in the heart of the city.

It reminds me to be Alive.
