Samhain Blessing

The seasons change –
We are indeed at the end of Summer.
During this time as the Light-ness of Day
Turns more toward the Darkness,
On this day the path between the worlds is thinner,
Allowing and Inviting us to listen to the Whispers of the Ancestors.
Our Eyes search for what lays hidden.
What Wisdom is there whispering to your Heart?
Light your Jack-o-Lanterns that those who could not find
The path way home, in their confusion of Death,
May now see the road home.
There is much Magic afoot in the world.



Blessings to you as the harvest is in.
Blessings to you as we find ourselves, turning inward.
Blessings to you, your Ancestors gone and yet to come.
Blessings to you, my friends, for You are a Light shining
In the Darker Months.
Blessings to you, for the Magic within.
I thank your for honouring the Mystery that abounds.

For Sarah Delano...You will Be Missed

I am a sadness, Great Spirit
A friend, left this Earth realm.
I will miss her bright light,
The sound of her sweet smile.

I ask that you watch over,
And guide my friend to what waits for us all.
Life is a Cycle,
We all will travel full Circle.
Today, this does not make it easier.

Gone from sight the shine in her Eyes.
Care for her Great Spirit,
She brings laughter and a brightness with her.
I am a sadness.

I have a Sadness, Great Spirit,
I will miss her.
I have a Joy, my friend is with You.
One more to watch over friends.

I am grateful for the time we shared.
Till our paths may cross again.
I have a sadness, mixed with a joy.
Guide my friend Home, Great Spirit
She is in Your Hands.

Great Mother,
I ask that you guide me.
Teach me to be of greater service.

Great Mother,
Show me the ways of Patience,
Teach me to listen to my true Heart.

Great Mother,
Hold me in your warmth,
Guide me with the deep Wisdom of Time.

Great Mother,
I am grateful for this day,
The Opportunity to BE a better Person,
To know that I am part of a Greater Plan.

I call to you Father Sky,
May the Sun rise today.
Bringing us warmth and Light
May it fill our Hearts.

I call to you Mother Earth,
Giving Thanks that you
Allow us to walk on your Belly,
May it teach us the Ways of Service.

Thank you for this day.
May I learn to live in Harmony,
With all that Surrounds me.

May you find rest from your day.
Close your eyes sweet children,
Night has come, the day is done.
