After a Storm

Great Mother, Father,
That which moves all that which moves,
I pray in awe of your wonder and power.
A crying and howling of wind,
A brightness and warmth to calm the soul,
Today a hush of snow,
As I light a candle for souls lost in the wee hours of morning.
I pray a gentle Thank you, for Life, for today.

Great Mother, Father,
That which moves all that which moves,
Hear my prayer,
Hold them gently as you carry them home.
Guide me in living,
That I may live my life to serve and honour.
I thank you for this day.
I ask that you continue to watch over my family.

Great Mother, Father,
That which moves all that which moves,
Grant us wisdom, compassion
That we may awaken to the fullness of our becoming.
Sit with me in these still hours of morning
As I weep and sing for those you have called home.
Thank you for this day.

Unfolding in Song

Great Spirit, I feel your presence surrounding me, guide me, teach me to be the music of harmony. Let my voice join with all that you are. Help me to Re-member deep in my Souls and Bones, that we are each part of the concert of life. I am right were you need me to be, I need not understand. Great Spirit, guide me, teach me the art of Being. That I may open, unfolding to all the possibility you lay out before me.

Forgive me, my Sadness

"The soul of the world is nourished by people's happiness...And when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you achieve it." Paulo Coelho

Great Mother Earth,
Please forgive me, my sadness,
I am most grateful for all
The beauty, magic, mystery in the world.
There are times, I will admit that living
Inside this human condition, finds me filled with Sorrow.

Great Mother Earth,
Please forgive me, my sadness.
Guide me toward an inner Compassion.
Teach me the way to have roots that give me wings.
Let all my sorrow be a path of growth.

Great Mother Earth,
Please forgive me, my sadness.
I pray for your help with this storm,
The swell in my heart ~
I turn it over to your wisdom.

Great Mother Earth,
Please forgive me, my sadness.
Guide me toward Gratitude,
In my times of Sorrow
May my tears wash clean the small hurts.

Great Mother Earth, Father Sky
Hear my prayers.

Everyday I want to be Grateful

Momma Earth,
I want to be grateful all the time
Some days it feels too difficult.
I hear those that I love in pain.
Struggling to pay their bills.
Feed themselves, their animals.
Guide me Momma.
Teach me and remind me that there truly is a purpose
For the destruction of hurricanes, tidal waves, and earthquakes.
Guide me through the seasons, the cycles,
That I may learn to be grateful all the time.
For I some times feel my own struggles,
To be kind, to share what I have.
Being in the moment!
Guide me Momma Earth,
Teach me, your ways, I am listening.
I come to you with arms wide open,
My heart I gift to you,
Sweet, sweet Momma Earth.

A Prayer of Resilience

Great Mother, Father, Spirit
I thank you for the gift of resilience
The inner laughter as I continue to learn.
I can sing and dance;
As I face into the wind of change and hurt.
I am able to morn and weep for what has been lost;
And yet feel the Joy rise in my heart;
For another day to Live and Love.
Thank you Great Mother, Father, Spirit.
I am grateful for your guidance
Teaching me that all things may change in the blink of an eye.
I am indeed blessed always, always.
